La leggenda del Castello di Gropparello - Piacenza in Emilia Romagna
Si narra che il castello di Gropparello fu teatro di una tragica vicenda. Verso la metà del Duecento era signore di queste zone Pietrone da Cagnano, che, partito per un viaggio nei propri possedimenti, lasciò sola la bella moglie Rosania Fulgosio. Approfittando della situazione, Lancillotto Bracciforte, capitano del marchese Pallavicino, prese d'assedio il castello, ma affascinato dalla bellezza della giovane castellana se ne innamorò e desistette dai propri propositi belligeranti.
Ricambiato da Rosania, i due divennero amanti e Pietrone, informato dell'accaduto da una perfida serva, mise a punto la sua atroce vendetta. Narcotizzata la moglie durante il suo ultimo sontuoso banchetto, la murò viva nelle segrete del castello ed ancora oggi, specie nelle notti di vento si sente una voce invocare aiuto...
