An Agritourism or as they also known farm stay, is any land based farm or business that is open to the public. These specialized farms generally offer things to see, things to do, and produce or gifts to buy, and are open to the public at least some parts of the year. Some are open 365 days, some only open for a few weekends in the fall. All offer a unique farm experience and are generally appealing to all members in a family.

Atina - Frosinone nel Lazio
Nell’antichità, Atina veniva considerata come l’ultimo centro difensivo contro il Sannio, e grazie alle risorse del suo territorio, ricco di limonite, e al coraggio dei suoi uomini, venne definita “potens” da Virgilio. Posta a 490 mt di altitudine, sulla via che univa Sora a Cassino, nel 433 a.C. combattè a fianco dei Sanniti contro Roma; fu occupata e ridotta a colonia militare. Anche in epoca medievale la cittadina rivestì un ruolo di importante centro commerciale nella Valle di Comino, e fu oggetto di continui scambi fra le varie famiglie di potenti fino al 1606, passando via via nelle mani dei Conti di Aquino, dei Cantelmo, Aragona, Borgia, Conca. La famiglia dei Cantelmo provvide alla ristrutturazione del Palazzo Ducale, dopo il violento terremoto del 1349, la cui possente mole, dalla facciata ingentilita da belle bifore e torri, occupa gran parte della Piazza Saturno.
